This body of work was produced while on artist residency in Belmont Mill Artist Studios, Belmont Co. Offaly from June- September 2009. The documentation here shows the work in progress.
This body of work began as an investigation into unconventional, variable and un-definable measurements of time; the time it takes to send a text message, the time it takes to get to know somebody, the time it takes to smoke a cigarette. From there the themes of isolation, anonymity and the act of waiting emerged, which are now being investigated by the artist.
